Political parties' portrayal attempts in creating an image of Aceh's women politicians

This study aims to provide an overview of political imagery done by parties for their female politicians. The constructivist paradigm with a descriptive qualitative approach is used in this study. informants were the chairman DPC Democratic Party, PPP PKB PDI-P DPD, and politicians from these parties. data analysis technique was Interactive Model Data Analysis method. results show that establish positive image women politicians, including involving all members party every activity carried out party, both formal non-formal activities within community. In community, attempted public understanding importance presence space, because will understand women's needs produce feminist policies. through communication media, interpersonal (face face), groups, mainstream modern media. Political establishment still has not shown promising direction. Therefore, must form should be massively utilising various media communication, community such as Ulama, Academics, Non-Governmental Organisations.
